Meet Our Music Director and Choral Director
Sarah Layman Graf
Sarah is currently an elementary music educator for Augusta County Public Schools, a church musician, singer, and is a native of Waynesboro, Virginia. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music in voice and vocal music education at James Madison University. Since the age of 20, Sarah has served in music ministry in churches. Sarah served Cooks Creek Presbyterian Church for 18 years as the adult choir director, handbell director, and led children’s music for special worship.
She and her husband, Dave, have two children, Micah and Adrienne. She absolutely loves all furry creatures, including her two dogs, Lady and Dexter, and two kitties, Muffin and Pumpkin. When Sarah isn’t singing, leading music or teaching, you can find her making memories with her family, cooking, pondering why her house plants are wilting, or eating lots of chips and salsa at Chili’s. Sarah feels blessed to be able to join the Westminster community in the long-standing tradition of serving the Lord in music ministry.
