I have been experiencing some difficulties with my vision for several years, and things really got bad last year in March. I had to give up driving which has greatly affected my independence. I cannot read or write unless I use a magnifier. If I can expand things on my iPad, that helps somewhat. Going to baseball games, watching TV, or going to the movie theater are all challenging. I do not recognize most people until they are very near me. As I have always been a nature lover, I really miss the beautiful views from my beloved Blue Ridge Mountains, etc. I am currently under the care of three UVA Eye Clinic specialists: One for the corneas, one for retinas, and one for glaucoma. I have had partial cornea transplants in both eyes. One has not been successful, while one shows some promise. Also, I am getting regular shots in my right eye to combat wet macular degeneration with which I was recently diagnosed. I continue to have hope, and I appreciate your prayers.

P.S. As far as the Property Ministry goes, thank Heavens for Steve Ayers, Matt McKibben, Bert Adamson, and others for all that they are doing. After 21 years, I cannot do nearly as much as I have in the past.
