Easter Connection, Personnel Ministry

For the past several weeks we have been connecting through our various ministries. Sunday we are focusing on the Personnel Ministry. Without our staff, we wouldn’t have worship, music with variety – instrumental and vocal, sound we can all hear, technology for YouTube streaming, multiple Christian education opportunities, childcare during worship, or even this fridge news! The Personnel ministry focuses on providing guidance, support, direction and feedback to all our staff – April, John, Sarah, Jordan, Justina, Ethan, Erin and Tara!! Each one of them brings unique and valued skills which allow us to grow into being a community of faith, living the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Although tackling exciting things like job descriptions, performance reviews, or lengthy discussions of health benefits might not seem thrilling to some, we have a dedicated team who recognizes the importance of these items!

Sunday we are asking you to share a memory or a few comments about how you personally have been blessed by a staff member. We are handing out cards with a staff member’s name and asking that you write your thoughts and turn it in during the collection or email your comments today to the Pilot, Julie Kirby, at

maybe_soon98@yahoo.com. These can be anonymous, or you can include your name. Our team will gather all the comments and compile them to share with the staff and we will also be creating a fun art piece based on the comments received. Take a moment and reflect on where we would be without our leaders. Let’s share our gratitude to those who help guide, inspire or assist us on our faith journeys!
