Lenten Connections, Fellowship and Congregational Care Ministry

As a church community, we are an extension of God’s love and support for one another as each of us face our own personal trials. There’s no greater way to provide support to one another than to offer to pray alongside them for the struggles they are facing.

As we read in Matthew 18:19-20: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.”

This Sunday, we invite you to share what is on your heart by writing it on a Prayer Request Card that will be passed out, so another member of our congregation may be given the opportunity to pray for your specific request along with you this coming week. Feel free to sign your name or keep it anonymous, it’s your choice; then place your request in the Offertory Plate as it is passed.

At the end of the Service, two of our Fellowship members will be at the back of the Sanctuary to provide us the opportunity to choose a Prayer Request Card from the Offertory Plate to take with them, so they may add their prayers to your own during the week. It is truly a blessing to share God’s love for one another through prayer; it connects us at the soul.
